Hi, I’m Amber Anderson. I am originally from a small little
town called Cleveland, TN but have relocated to Detroit, MI with my husband
Sam. We have two amazing sons, Jude and Titus. I love everything creative, and
more than that, I love everything done cheap. You see, this isn’t how I’ve
always done things, but marrying a pastor didn’t exactly win me a golden
lottery ticket. I learned quick on the day I said “I do” that things were going
to be a little bit different than what I was use to, and I was okay with that.
To tell you the truth, I find more excitement in finding out how I can get the
things I want without spending the money. I love my family, and I always want
the best for my husband, my kids, my home, and for myself. That’s why the term DIY
has my name written all over it. Most of my posts, ideas, tutorials and
pictures are things that we all want, but some of us can’t afford. My main goal
is to find a way to have those things, but in different (cheap) ways.
I don’t believe that my life, family, and home should be
determined by the amount of money we make. I believe in making my life fit my
paycheck, not working for a paycheck to fit my life.
